Tory Shepherd has just branched out on her own as a freelancer after 15 years at The Advertiser – although she remains a senior columnist there. You can also see her regularly on The Drum and Sunrise, or hear her on ABC radio. In her time at News Corp she has variously been a state political reporter, the federal political editor, and the state editor. She also spent a couple of years as acting editor at The Punch. She is a Walkley judge, a Churchill Fellow, and the author of On Freedom. Many years ago Tory finished an Honours degree in anthropology and a Master’s degree in professional communication.
