Forvis Mazars introduces a new climate reporting readiness tool
To help companies prepare for the mandatory climate reporting, Forvis Mazars has launched a new ESG tool to assess how prepared your organisation is.
On 9 September 2024, the Parliament has passed the Bill introducing mandatory climate reporting in accordance with AASB S2 climate-related disclosures. For large companies, the first reporting year starts 1 January 2025. While smaller companies will be affected from 1st July 2027, they should start as soon as possible as preparing climate-related disclosures is a long journey.
The initial step for companies is to perform a gap analysis. To aid in this process, Forvis Mazars have created a free climate reporting readiness tool (10-15 minutes) that generates a personalised report.
This tool will help you to:
- Identify areas where your organisation needs to significantly step up its efforts to meet regulatory requirements (gap analysis)
- Get recommendations tailored to your organisation and additional information on AASB S2 requirements
