Banette Opened a French Bistro Dining in Brisbane’s West End
Banette Bistro introduces a French bistro dining experience on Friday and Saturday evenings within the Banette West End.
From a young age, Thierry, the founder of Banette, was immersed in the world of gastronomie, growing up in a family dedicated to fine dining and culinary experiences.
‘Opening a French bistro in Brisbane has been a lifelong dream,’ he shares.
That dream came to life in September with the opening of Bistro Banette, offering Brisbane locals French cuisine rooted in tradition and authenticity.
Located in Brisbane’s West End, Banette Bistro introduces a French bistro dining experience on Friday and Saturday evenings within the Banette West End bakery. The bistro offers a menu focused on classic French dishes such as Duck Confit with Orange Sauce, Beef Tartare with Fries, and a vegetable-based Ratatouille Pie, priced at approximately $30 per dish.
Banette Bistro’s approach emphasises simplicity and tradition, reflecting a style found in many Parisian bistros. The restaurant also features a rotating specialty dish every two weeks, aiming to showcase seasonal ingredients and French cooking methods.
Reservations are recommended due to the bistro’s limited weekend schedule.
