Philippe Gravier
Philippe Gravier
In 1990, Philippe moved to Hong Kong and was an active member of the French Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and helped set up a soccer team whose members were French Expatriates.
He then transferred to Melbourne in 1994 and was became an active member of the Victorian French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FACCI).
In 1998 he returned to his home city Lyon, France and in 2004, he moved back to Australia, this time to Adelaide and has remained in Adelaide since with his wife and three children.
Philippe, and the Gravier family are well known in Adelaide for extending a spontaneous and warm welcome to new French arrivals who often contact him.
He and his entire family are frequent volunteer helpers at the Bastille Day celebration each year as well as other local events arranged by the office of the Honorary Consular Agency of France in Adelaide and local French community organisations.

- 2004: Committee member of FABSCA SA (French Business Council Association of SA)
- 2005: FABSCA SA Vice President and closed it down to become Co-Founder of FACCI SA
- 2005 - 2009: FACCI SA Vice President
- 2009 - 2013: FACCI SA President
- 2015 - 2016: FACCI SA Vice President (Events)
- Since 2016: FACCI SA Board Member
- 2022: FACCI SA Honorary Life Member
- Since 2010: Committee member of French Benevolent Association of South Australia Inc. (FBASA) “Les Enfants Terribles “

President since 2022.
- Since 2012: Local official at the voting station for the French Presidential elections, Legislative Council elections and European elections held at The Alliance Française
- 2013-2022: Board member of Alliance Française d'Adelaïde (AFdA)
- November 2016: Philippe, along with his wife and other local French ladies established Adelaide Accueil Inc., a member of the FIAFE worldwide network of Accueil
