The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Scarlett Strategic Solutions is pleased to invite you to attend to a three-session workshop starting on Wednesday the 7th of August.

This course is designed to ensure that participants will have a deeper awareness of their role in creating effective communication with their stakeholders, through understanding the key elements to communication, the barriers to effective communication and how to overcome them. They will learn about their own default communication style, its impact on others, and how to flex it in order to achieve their relationship goals.

Participants will also develop the capability to communicate with impact and influence others successfully, through learning the key to ‘tailor made persuasion’, planning to influence, and techniques to discover what drives others, and how to appeal to their values and motives.

Course objectives

Participants who have completed the course will have:

• An increased awareness of:
  • The key elements of successful communication
  • The challenges and difficulties of effective communication
  • The common reasons for communication breakdown
• Self- awareness of their own default communication style
• An ability to flex their default style to suit their audience and to use specific techniques to ensure accurate communication and understanding
• An understanding of how to identify the agendas, concerns, and motivations of others
• The ability to generate enthusiasm for ideas and initiatives by tapping into shared values
• Appreciation for the importance of developing and articulating a compelling position regarding a specific point of view.
