How will climate change, population growth, ageing assets & competing interests for water will impact the Queensland water sector in the future?
The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry is pleased to invite you to its next Transport & Infrastructure video conference dedicated to the Challenges & Opportunities for the Queensland Water Infrastructure Sector on Thursday 10 September.
The Queensland water sector is facing major challenges presently and into the future, including climate change, population growth, ageing assets and competing interests for water. Advances in technology, markets and planning may help overcome these challenges to a certain extent, but significant policy and regulatory changes may be needed to ensure the resilience of Queensland's water supply in the coming decades.
Moderated by Suzy Cairney,Partner at Holding Redlich in the Construction and Infrastructure group, our panel brings together speakers drawn from the public and private sectors to discuss these issues. Join our conversation as we consider how project partners can work together to resolve the industry’s challenges and capitalise on the new opportunities presented, while getting water investment decisions right.
We look forward to welcoming you on Thursday 10 September from 11am in Perth, 12:30pm in Adelaide, and 1pm in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane!
