Olivier holds a PhD in Control of Complex Systems, specialty Autonomous Vehicles, from the French National Institute of Scientific Research (CNRS).

He has over 20 years of experience in rail signalling systems engineering from high speed, regional, freight to metro applications. He was involved in the development of safety critical signalling products for mainline solutions such as ETCS as well as urban solutions like CBTC.

Olivier has lead engineering teams for various signalling projects across the world from system design, installation, test and commissioning to customer acceptance. He has contributed to the delivery of high-speed line projects in Italy, Spain, mainline projects in Spain, South Korea, Australia and CBTC projects in China.  

After having managed Alstom ANZ Signalling Engineering team for many years supporting the delivery of major projects such as Sydney Metro North West or ETCS in Sydney, Regional Rail Link in Melbourne. Olivier is nowadays responsible for the Strategy and Signalling Solutions Portfolio for Australia and New-Zealand market.
