Michael has been building businesses since the age of 21. Over this time, Michael built a gym, a luxury car and boat detailing business, e-commerce stores, an Accounting technology startup and a successful technology consulting business.

He also led the development of the $30 Million Crown Marina, taking it from concept through to reality, gaining stringent environmental approvals and raising the capital required in the midst of the GFC.

Michael has been involved with Adelaide’s entrepreneurial and start-up community for many years, partaking in programs such as SAYES, Propel and EO Accelerator. He is a strong advocate for mentorship in the start-up eco-system, supporting TechStars, NVI, Mass Challenge, Start-up Weekend and ThincLab.

Michael is now the AgTech lead for BDO Australia, assisting AgTech companies to commercialise and drive adoption throughout the Agricultural sector. He is also the Expert In Residence at the University of Adelaide ThincLab Waite AgTech incubator.
