Helene Baron is the Head of Strategic Business Development at Space Machines Company, an Australian start-up offering next-generation space transportation and logistics services.

Helene is a strategic connector and an experienced advisor who honed her skills in EU public policy and government affairs, with a deep focus on research and innovation at the international level. She has served as Deputy-Director of the most prominent French aerospace region office (Toulouse / Midi-Pyrenees) in Brussels, representing the interests of leading aerospace stakeholders to the EU institutions.

In 2018, she joined the Australian National University Institute for Space (ANU InSpace) in Canberra, where she was Head of Programs & Strategic Partnerships for three years.

Helene is a member of La FrenchTech Australia initiative and is passionate about building bridges and partnerships between France and Australia to support the growth of common projects and companies that make sense for our future.
