Damien Sanford joined AusNet Services in March 2020 from AEMO where he was the Chief Operations Officer. Over the past ten years, Damien has been pivotal in shaping and operating the national electricity grid, Victorian gas transmission system, and electricity and gas markets in Australia.

As part of AusNet Services Growth and Future Networks division, Damien is now focussed on delivering major infrastructure projects including wind and solar grid scale connection assets, and the new Victorian Western Transmission system in support of Australia's transition to a sustainable energy future.
